     Sarah A. Dunlap was born on 12 January 1831 at Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of William Dunlap and Elizabeth Swaggerty. Sarah A. Dunlap was born circa 1833 at Tennessee, USA.² She married Elijah Loposser on 26 January 1850 at Knox, Tennessee, USA.³ Sarah A. Dunlap died on 25 October 1899 at age 68.¹
      Sarah A. Dunlap was also known as Sallie Ann Dunlap.⁴

     Lillian Mae Brown was born on 3 September 1890 at Tennessee, USA.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel M. Brown and Sarah Ellen Hodges. Lillian Mae Brown married Leon Johnson Lowpasser, son of William A. Lowpasser and Margaret Elizabeth Dotson, in 1917; Draft record states next of kin is Lillie Mae Lopasser, mother. Census entries say this is his wife. Lillian Mae Brown died on 14 November 1934 at Knoxville, Knox, Tennessee, USA, at age 44.¹
      Lillian Mae Brown was also known as Lilly Mae Brown.

     Dorothy B. Lowpasser is the daughter of Leon Johnson Lowpasser and Lillian Mae Brown.¹

     Samuel M. Brown married Sarah Ellen Hodges.

     Mary Runyan married Edward Chesney.
      Mary Runyan was also known as Mary Hagard.¹

     Annie M. (?) was born circa 1878 at Tennessee, USA.¹ She married Matthew Lafayette Lopasser, son of William A. Lowpasser and Margaret Elizabeth Dotson, circa 1920.²

     Samuel Johnson married Laura (?).

     CW3(RET) Charles Edward Ortt is the son of Gordon Charles Ortt and Edna Mable McMillan. CW3(RET) Charles Edward Ortt married Darlene Chyrl Duffy on 25 September 1968 at Niagara Falls, Niagara, New York; Civil Ceremony. Witnessed by Tony Fluri and JoAnne Bradley, both formerly of Thorold, Ontario, Canada. Tony and JoAnne were friends of Charles' from High School. Dinner following the evening ceremony was held at the Howard Johnson's Restraunt in Niagara Falls, New York. No family members or other friends were in attendance.

The rather brief honeymoon was a quick trip to Pennsylvania for lunch on the 26th and return to Niagara Falls. Charles entered the US Army on the day following (27 September). Darlene continued to reside with her mother, Audrey, in Niagara Falls until Charles' return from duty in Viet Nam (May 1969 through April 1970).

     Christina Irene Ortt is the daughter of CW3(RET) Charles Edward Ortt and Darlene Chyrl Duffy. Christina Irene Ortt married James Edward Kramp Jr on 23 September 2000 at Niagara Falls, Niagara, New York.

     Charles Edward Ortt Jr is the son of CW3(RET) Charles Edward Ortt and Darlene Chyrl Duffy.

     Earl McClellan Ortt is the son of CW3(RET) Charles Edward Ortt and Darlene Chyrl Duffy.

     Gordon Charles Ortt is the son of Charles Edgar Ortt and Carrie Sophia Hillman. Gordon Charles Ortt married Edna Mable McMillan on 20 September 1947. Gordon Charles Ortt married Carol Ann Keith on 9 April 1964 at Cumberland, Allegany, Maryland.

     Edna Mable McMillan married Gordon Charles Ortt, son of Charles Edgar Ortt and Carrie Sophia Hillman, on 20 September 1947.

     Derek L'Von Ortt is the son of James Edward Kramp Jr and Christina Irene Ortt.

     Charles Edgar Ortt was born on 24 January 1884 at Town of Lewiston, Niagara, New York. He was the son of Cyrus Norman Ortt and Catherine Ann Graham. Charles Edgar Ortt married Carrie Sophia Hillman on 24 November 1918. Charles Edgar Ortt died on 28 July 1964 at Ransomville General Hospital, Ransomville, Niagara, New York, at age 80. He was buried on 31 July 1964 at North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, Niagara, New York.

     Carrie Sophia Hillman was born on 20 March 1901 at Ransomville, Niagara, New York. She married Charles Edgar Ortt, son of Cyrus Norman Ortt and Catherine Ann Graham, on 24 November 1918. Carrie Sophia Hillman died on 28 June 1975 at St Mary's Hospital, Town of Lewiston, Niagara, New York, at age 74. She was buried on 30 June 1975 at North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria, New York.
     She Per the Town of Portwe birth records, her registered birth name is Carrie Sophia Hillman. Previous versions of this family tree show her name as being Caroline Sophie Hillman.

     Cynthia Ann Ortt married John DiVirgilio. Cynthia Ann Ortt is the daughter of Gordon Charles Ortt and Edna Mable McMillan. Cynthia Ann Ortt married Alex Innocenti on 13 May 1969.

     John Allen Ortt was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Thorold, Ontario, Canada. He was born on 17 September 1955 at Niagara Falls, Niagara, New York. He was the son of Gordon Charles Ortt and Edna Mable McMillan. John Allen Ortt died on 2 May 2002 at Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, at age 46; Heart Failure.
     He John never married and is not known to have not fathered any children.

John was a quadreplegic as a result of a fall from a road overpass. He spent the past 17 years of his life in a wheel chair. He had an apartment in an assisted living home, operated by the Ontario March of Dimes, located in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Over this 17 year period, John slowly regained some use of his arms and hands. However, the joins in his hands, wrists and elbows calcified and locked into fixed positions. Physical therapy would have resulted in his regaining more use of his arms and hands however, following his fall, a number of bones in his arms and hands were broken and calicification had already begun prior to healing.

John, in the months following his fall, had lost the desire to live. This mental state brought about a resistance to attempts to initiate physical therapy. He suffered intense pain during the sessions that were started and soon, were discontinued. John eventually regained a will to live but not before his hand, wrist and elbow joins calcified and locked into position. Surgery was considered but was ruled out after considering John's emotional / mental state of being.

His cause of death was as a result of heart failure followed by brain death. Immediate CPR was given to John as a nurse was with him when he went into cardiac arrest. The amount of time that passed between his getting EMT assistance and a lack of oxygen to his brain led him to a comatose state. He never regained consciousness and remained in a coma until death. Weeks prior to his death, John had stopped eating regular meals and his health deminished to a weakened physical state. This was probably the most likely factor which led to his deminished state of health and contributed actual cause of death.

John was interred in a grave occupied by Tom and Sadie Roberts. Tom and Sadie are the parents of Bruce Thomas Sr, John's Step-Father. John's remains are to be relocated with Bruce Sr and Edna (John's mother) once a cemetary plot is purchased upon the passing of one of them. Final interment will probably be in the Lakeview Cemetary.

     Carol Ann Keith married Gordon Charles Ortt, son of Charles Edgar Ortt and Carrie Sophia Hillman, on 9 April 1964 at Cumberland, Allegany, Maryland.

     Terry Lynn Ortt is the daughter of Gordon Charles Ortt and Carol Ann Keith. Terry Lynn Ortt married David Barry on 22 June 1985 at Niagara Falls, Niagara, New York.

     John DiVirgilio married Cynthia Ann Ortt, daughter of Gordon Charles Ortt and Edna Mable McMillan.

     Jennifer DiVirgilio is the daughter of John DiVirgilio and Cynthia Ann Ortt. Jennifer DiVirgilio married Francis Jude Morasiewicz on 21 November 1998 at Holy Rosary Church, Thorold, Ontario, Canada.

     Jeremy DiVirgilio married Jennifer Sadusek. Jeremy DiVirgilio is the son of John DiVirgilio and Cynthia Ann Ortt.

     Alex Innocenti was born on 20 April 1940 at Santo Padre, Italy. He married Cynthia Ann Ortt, daughter of Gordon Charles Ortt and Edna Mable McMillan, on 13 May 1969. Alex Innocenti died on 9 April 2001 at St Catharines, Ontario, Canada, at age 60. He was buried on 10 April 2001 at Cremated.

     Cyrus Norman Ortt married Catherine Ann Graham. Cyrus Norman Ortt was born on 6 October 1851 at Niagara, New York. He was the son of Elias Ort and Arthusa M. Peterson. Cyrus Norman Ortt was buried in May 1936 at North Ridge Cemetery, Niagara, New York; Buried in the Northridge Cemetary, Niagara County, New York. He is in the family grave plot, excact spot is unmarked. Cemetary Association records show him as buried in the family plot of Cyrus Ortt and family. There isn't a markers stone on site.

Died as a result of severe injuries from a logging buzz saw while cutting logs into boards. He was cut in the region of his buttocks. He died from the injuries in the hospital soon after the accident.

Cyrus had a long white beard that he refused to cut shorter. While in the hospital for the buzz saw injury, the beard was cut shorter by the hospital staff. Cyrus died shortly after the beard cutting. Gordon contends that this disheartened him and led to his death.

Place of Birth has to be verified. Possibly born in Beamsville, Ontario Canada or elsewhere other than Niagara County, NY. He died on 6 May 1936 at Lockport Hospital, Lockport, Niagara, New York, at age 84.

     Catherine Ann Graham married Cyrus Norman Ortt, son of Elias Ort and Arthusa M. Peterson. Catherine Ann Graham was buried at North Ridge Cemetery, Niagara, New York. She was born on 28 April 1866 at Lewiston, Niagara, New York. She died on 13 March 1944 at Niagara, New York, at age 77.

     Arthusa M. Peterson was buried at North Ridge Cemetery. She was born on 21 July 1828 at Ontario, Canada. She married Elias Ort, son of Christian Ort and Magdalene Schuler, on 11 April 1849 at Cambria, Niagara, New York. Arthusa M. Peterson died on 28 November 1864 at Niagara, New York, at age 36; Consumption (tuberculosis).
     She Name may acutally have been spelled as "ARATHUSIA PETERSON" Spelled "ARTHUSA" on her grave marker.

Per a posting in the Niagara County Historians Office, Lockport, NY, Arthusia died of "consumption" on 28 Nov,age of 36 years, and that she was born in Canada W. (Ontario). According to an article in a book entitled "Robert's Biographies" under Rowley K. Ortt, Arthusa was born elsewhere.

     Bertha May Ortt is the daughter of Charles Edgar Ortt and Carrie Sophia Hillman. Bertha May Ortt married Russell Roberts on 26 February 1938; date from family historian notes.
