- [S32] The Citizen Advertiser, AUBURN < William R. Mason, 51, of Prospect Street, Auburn, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at his home. Mr. Mason was born in Auburn on Aug. 29, 1955. He was the son of the late William H. Mason and Barbara Walker Migner of Florida. Bill was a member of the graduating Class of 1973 of Auburn High School, and in his younger years, he was an Eagle Scout. He served his country with the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his military career, he worked at 84 Lumber and also at many other local lumberyards. Bill enjoyed helping his friends and family with anything that they may need. He also enjoyed motorcycle riding. In addition to this mother, Barbara Migner and her husband, Claude, of Florida, Bill is survived by a son, Mark; his three sisters, Elizabeth (Joe) Mature and Ann (Peter) Warner, all of Texas, and Margaret (Brian) Brown of Auburn; a brother, David (Michelle) Mason of Alabama; two very special aunts, Barbara Slaski and Joanie Brush. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews that loved him very much. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, in White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn. Burial with military honors will be in St. Joseph"s Cemetery, Fleming. There will be no calling hours. Contributions in memory of Bill Mason may be forwarded to his family in care of Margaret Brown, 127 N. Lewis St., Auburn.
