Alex Galyean Dies
Alex Galyean, 77 years old, a lifelong resident of Hiwasse, and widely known in Benton county, died Saturday night from injuries he received in a fall at his farm last Thursday.
He is survived by his widow, five sons; Otis, Wilmer and Clifton Galyean of Hiwasse; Eura and Marsahll of Sunnyvale, Calif. three daughters, Mrs. Willie Preslev, Mrs. Willie Dunnaway and Mrs. Vernon Coke, all of Hiwasse; three stepsons: Huse, W.R. and Denver Cowger, of Hiwasse, and one stepdaughter Mrs. Roy Bates of Hiwasse.
Funeral service was conducted at the Hiwasse Christian church Monday afternoon, at 2:30, by Rev. Arthur Hart, of Mason Valley. Burial was made in teh Mount Pleasant cemetery.
