A native of Weedsport, he was born March 4, 1958, and was a graduate of Weedsport Junior-Senior High School. He moved to Florida from Phoenix, N.Y., 14 years ago. He was employed as a truck maintenance worker for Tommy's Tire Shop of Wildwood, Fla. Mr. Walters was Methodist.
Survivors include his stepmother, Marion Walters, two brothers, Brian Walters and Barry Walters, and a stepbrother, Dennis Hadcock, all of Weedsport; six grandchildren; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; and his parents, Virginia and Bub Walters.
Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at the Methodist Church on East Brutus Street in Weedsport.
